Founder Irena Ossola grew up in Santa Fe since 1994, 5 years old, and even through pro athletics and world travel, she still finds a base and home in this land of enchantment.

Irena is THE toughest person you will ever meet.

She has overcome great struggle, this is just the next step in her journey to show it’s possible to conquer new challenges and motivate others to work hard. She would love to share her story with you!

     She started at St. Michael’s High School in Santa Fe, then went to college at Columbia University in NYC, then she became a pro runner for 2 years in Italy.  She then became a pro cyclist in 2012, where she raced her first bike race in France, she was in one of the hardest women’s bike races in the world; 6 days of mountains. She raced until 2017, when she was hit by a car while biking in Santa Fe.  She recovered over 2 years, and came back to racing in pro triathlon, 2021-2024.

     Now racing ultra mountain bike and trail running to challenge how far she can really push herself.  In August 2024, she competed in a 6 day mountain bike race, Breck Epic.  She crashed on day 2, but didn’t drop out until day 4. On that 4th day, she drove home and to the ER, where they said she had a broken rib and collapsed lung.   Then 1 month later she competed in a 110 mile gravel bike race, biking for over 7 hours.

     She would love to share more stories and meet you in person to show you what a great city Santa Fe truly is and she holds so deep in her heart.
